RSPB's Big Garden Birdwatch is this weekend. Spend an enjoyable hour of your time to watch and count the birds in your garden.
My results:2 blackbirds, 3 blue tits, 3 collared doves, 2 dunnocks, 2 goldfinches, 1 great tit, 3 greenfinches, 3 house sparrows, 2 robins, 5 starlings and 2 woodpigeons.
I have had blackcaps, redwings and song thrushes in the garden over the past week, but just not when it counts!

The 24th - 25th of January 2015 is the weekend of the RSPB's Big Garden Birdwatch. It is important to take part in this survey, to see how bird populations are changing in Britain's gardens.
My results:1 blackcap, 1 song thrush, 2 blackbirds, 2 blue tits, 1 collared dove, 1 dunnock, 4 goldfinches, 4 house sparrows, 5 long-tailed tits, 2 magpies, 2 robins, 2 starlings and 2 woodpigeons.

I also heard pheasants and other warblers. Other wildlife include roe deer, field mice, brimstone, common blue, peacock and speckled wood butterflies.

10:30AM - 11:45AM - 2 blackcaps (both were male), 3 great spotted woodpeckers, 1 chiffchaff, 2 jays, 4 chaffinches, 20+ blue tits, 15+ great tits, 5+ robins and 4 blackbirds. A nuthatch could be heard, but was not seen.
Unclear picture of a blackcap, but it is definitely a blackcap.
