Song thrush and chiffchaffs were heard.

Barred Warbler. Luckily, I did find this rarity in the hawthorn bushes in the NW corner. Other birds included 2 whinchats, 3 whitethroats, 3 stonechats, 2 reed buntings, 20+ swallows, 10+ long-tailed tits, 3 kestrels, 5 mute swans (including 3 juveniles), 1 grey heron, 1 moorhen and 2 jays.

Goldcrest could also be heard. Many butterflies including gatekeeper, small copper and meadow brown. Mammals included 2 muntjac deer and a roe deer.
